"Reminders of Him" follows Kenna Rowan’s journey of redemption as she returns from prison to reconnect with her daughter and confront her past.
Kenna Rowan is sent to prison after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter following a drunk-driving accident that killed her boyfriend, Scotty Landry. Unbeknownst to her at the time, she was pregnant with Scotty’s child. During her sentence, her daughter Diem is raised by Scotty’s parents.
Upon her release, Kenna returns to her hometown with the goal of rebuilding her life and forming a bond with Diem, who is now five years old. She faces resistance from Diem’s grandparents, who are skeptical of her ability to be a mother.
